Did You Know – Winter Transportation

Settlers needed to get creative in how they kept warm while travelling in the winter. Many settlers bundled up baked potatoes, stones, or bricks. Some people would put these heated items in a pot and set it under the wagon seat. Others would use these items to warm up their feet and hands.
